She wouldn't have done it without a reason. You can substitute (she) for he ...but it seems to lend more sympathy if it's a woman or a child.

It's good to trust people, things, or processes.  I hope we all know people we can trust.  You may wonder what I mean by trusting things ....and even more so, question why I would suggest we trust things.  Well, we may trust our car will start ...that would be a good thing, especially if we had something important to do. And it's good to trust processes ...such as the rising and setting of the sun.

It's pleasant surprises that may make our day ...and not so pleasant ones that seem to ruin it.

But, things happen because we live in a world where things do.

And sometimes they get the best of us.

We may think we have it good ...and are enjoying our ride, but we may be a little close to the edge. Can we actually see what's around the corner? Or when everything in our life seems to cave in ...do we wait for it to begin to settle, or do we rub the dirt further in our eyes??

Sometimes it's fun to take chances and have adventure.

Let's say that it gives us joy and doesn't affect anyone else.

I agree, what's the harm?

But, there are things that do harm.

(Present adventure not included)

There are things that we should address. If we don't address them properly and call them for what they really are ...these issues may slowly and slowly take over portions of our lives, and begin to reign.

Often we make claims of oversights, rationalize ...then make excuses, and maybe even cover-up.

These are reasons too ...but not good ones, and not acceptable to me.

When someone says, "He wouldn't have done it without a reason."  Well, perhaps the reason is simply the fact that slowly and gradually we feel confident enough to go through life on our own ...or perhaps not confident enough to go on at all.  If we do not look towards God to guide our thinking ...someone else will.

And that may seem like a small reason, yet it often brings shocking and devastating results ...and we desperately ask "Why?"  Most of us, at one time, may have known the answer ...or had been close to knowing the answer, but we often do not exercise proper follow-up on correct things.

The birth of Jesus would have meant little, if He had not died on the cross.

He would have been depicted as merely another good man.

And we'd have no true hope.

Sadly, this is how many do depict Him.

And they put their hope in so many fleeting things.
